Final Staff Drafts Published on June 15, 2026 | Adoption Scheduled for June 29, 2026

We're pleased to share that the final versions of the Staff Drafts of the Zoning Ordinance and the Comprehensive Map Amendment are now available on Engage Rockville. These Final Staff Drafts reflect direction from the Mayor and Council during their May 4, May 11, and June 1 work sessions, along with various technical corrections and minor policy changes.

Final adoption of the new Zoning Ordinance and the Comprehensive Map Amendment is scheduled for Monday, June 29, at the regular meeting of the Mayor and Council. Meeting brief books, which include the staff reports and other briefing materials, will be available in the city’s Agenda Center approximately one week before the meeting. Mayor and Council meetings generally begin at 6:30 p.m. and are held in the Mayor and Council chambers at Rockville City Hall (111 Maryland Ave.). Meetings are also broadcast live on Channel 11.
