The Mayor and Council will hold a second public hearing on the Planning Commission Approved Town Center Master Plan on December 9. Meeting details will be available in the Agenda Center of the City's website.

The Mayor and Council hosted the first public hearing on the Planning Commission approved Town Center Master Plan on October 28, 2024. The meeting agenda, staff report and associated attachments, presentation and meeting recording can be found in the Agenda Center of the City's website. 

The Planning Commission reviewed the latest draft of the Plan and voted to approve the Plan and transmit it along to the Mayor and Council on September 25.

The Planning Commission held a second work session on the draft Town Center Master Plan on September 11. At this meeting, the Planning Commission continued discussion on the Plan and provided additional instructions on modifications staff.

The Planning Commission hosted a public hearing on the draft Town Center Master Plan on July 10. At this meeting, the Planning Commission heard public testimony about the Plan.

The Planning Commission started their review and approval of the draft Town Center Master Plan on June 26. At this meeting the draft Plan was introduced to the Planning Commission and the Commission began its discussion of the Plan's components.

We will be hosting two public meetings to share the Plan’s recommendations and to talk about WMATA’s concept for improvements to the Rockville Metro Station. This is the second of those meetings, and will take in person at Rockville City Hall, within the Mayor and Council Chambers. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.

At this public meeting, City of Rockville staff will present their findings from four months of intensive community outreach and engagement on the Rockville Town Center Master Plan. This will be the last chance for community members and other stakeholders to provide feedback before the team begins drafting the plan throughout the fall.

There will be a duplicate meeting held in-person on Tuesday, October 24 from 7:00-8:30 PM at VisArts (155 Gibbs St, Rockville, MD 20850).

A Town Hall on Town Center was attended by hundreds of members of the Rockville community, providing the public an opportunity to give ideas on how to improve Town Center.
