Economic Development Strategic Plan External Working Group Holds Kickoff Meeting

On Monday, July 20, the City of Rockville Economic Development Strategic Plan External Working Group held its kickoff meeting. The working group is comprised of small and large business leaders from different sectors, and other city economic development partners.

During the kickoff meeting, the city's consultant, RKG Associates, introduced the project, presented a preliminary baseline analysis and heard from members about the issues and opportunities shaping economic development in Rockville. While not a decision-making body, feedback from the working group will help frame the prioritization of actions for the city's leadership to consider and adopt.
