We are listening ...

Over the past several months, City of Rockville employees, residents, community organizations, and stakeholders have shared their experiences, perspectives, and ideas through surveys, focus groups, and community listening sessions. We appreciate everyone who participated. The information gathered is helping identify strengths, opportunities, and priorities that will guide Rockville’s five-year JEDI Strategic Plan.

During this phase, the project team is:

  • Reviewing findings from surveys, focus groups, and listening sessions.

  • Identifying priority focus areas.

  • Developing goals, strategies, and action steps.

  • Establishing measures to track progress and accountability.

  • Creating recommendations for implementation over the next five years.


Looking ahead

This summer, the city expects to finalize the JEDI Strategic Plan and begin implementation planning. Future updates will include strategic priorities, goals, and opportunities for continued community involvement.

Together, we are building a roadmap that helps ensure city programs, services, and decision-making reflect the needs and experiences of the people we serve.
